Declaration on accessibility

The City of Friedrichshafen strives to make its websites and mobile applications accessible without barriers in accordance with Section 10 (1) of the State Disability Equality Act (L-BGG). This accessibility statement applies to the version of this website www.medienhaus-am-see.de currently accessible on the Internet.

Status of compatibility with the requirements

This website is only partially compatible with Section 10 (1) L-BGG.  Non-accessible content may include:

  1. pdf files:
    pdf files posted before 23.07.2020 are partially not accessible. pdf files posted later will be created in an accessible version if possible or replaced by one as soon as possible. Non-accessible pdf files will be supplemented with a corresponding html text of the same content if possible.
  2. Subtitles of videos and livestreams:
    Videos/livestreams are initially subtitled automatically and may contain errors. For newly posted videos, we will endeavor to provide revised subtitles as soon as possible after publication. Videos from third parties may be included by us, but not subtitled.
  3. Images, photos and graphics:
    Occasionally, alternative texts may be missing. We regularly check for completeness and add missing alternative texts.
  4. Map integration from Google Maps:
    The Google Maps map integrations are not accessible. We are currently working on an accessible alternative for displaying the address data listed in Google Maps, some of which is already available.

Voice Reader

As an additional service, we have added the Voice Reader read-aloud function to this website. By clicking on the "Read aloud" button, the text of a page is read aloud. The entire text can also be downloaded as an audio file.
